Years later, when the internet is unrecognizable,
Your thoughts would still occupy a tiny crevice,
A corner, you may circle back to,
To look back at who you were,
and trace how you’ve changed.
By some chance, if you were to become famous,
Curious people would visit to see your early work,
Either to appreciate the past you,
Or to look for your fundamental flaws.
But irrespective of your road ahead,
Your words would be etched in stone,
Waiting to be found, and waiting to influence,
The future minds that stumble upon it.
Your words written for today’s reader,
Will not be erased by the constant revolution,
They will become a piece of history,
To remind the world,
of your thoughts, your legacy.
This is very true and a good reminder of the future impact of what we write, both for self and others. 🤍
