I wonder what it’s like,
A mundane poem,
With no pearls of wisdom,
And no deeper explanation
A poem about the falling sun,
Into the sea,
Without describing the crimson hues,
And metaphysical implications
A poem about starry skies,
Without meandering imagination,
Without heartfelt extrapolations,
Just some calming imagery
A truly simple poem,
Not a simplicity that invokes thought,
or describes visuals the eye doesn’t see,
But rather a poem like a sip of green tea,
What would it look like,
A poem unlike this one,
Can a mundane poem,
Actually exist?
This is really lovely in its question and statement.. Nicely written.
