The Pillow

Too thick,
And it can sprain your neck,
Too thin,
but then you can’t lie on your side

Too hard,
As though it’s not meant for rest,
Too soft,
What’s the point of a pillow then

No pillow,
makes you wonder how ancient beings slept,
But not any pillow,
Cause ordinary pillows have extreme tendencies

Your pillow,
Has a space specially for your head,
It makes your bed whole,
Years of use or misuse have molded it,
Just right
