Change

Everyday is a new day,
A new day where something has changed,
Cause everything always changes,
Irrevocably, even if it’s infinitesimally small

Reminiscing the good old days,
Where everything was simpler,
Regretting our terrible choices,
The lies we tell ourselves

The world is changing,
you could change along with it too
Accept the past for shaping who we are,
And shaping ourselves for tomorrow

Instead of looking behind,
And trying to rewind the clock,
The good times can’t come back,
The fresh good times,
will be good in their own way.

  1. Well written, very relatable “Reminiscing the good old days,
    Where everything was simpler,
    Regretting our terrible choices,
    The lies we tell ourselves”

Change is the only constant in this world, as you’ve said we should accept the past since its already gone and living it everyday especially in regrets only creates more pain.
